Regression Hypnosis
A scientifically-proven therapeutic approach that helps you access your subconscious mind to create lasting positive changes in behavior, thoughts, and emotions.

What is Regression Hypnosis?
Regression hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that gently guides you, while in hypnosis, back to earlier memories. These memories can come from childhood, significant moments in your life, or experiences your mind connects to deeper emotional patterns. The goal is to uncover and resolve the root causes of things you may be struggling with today, whether that’s emotional blocks, certain behaviors, recurring patterns, or even physical stress responses.
And nooo, hypnosis is not what you see in the movies with a swinging clock and swirly images. The best way to think of hypnosis is as a deep guided meditation. You are relaxed, aware, and completely in control the entire time. During the session, I gently guide you into a deeply relaxed state where your subconscious mind becomes more open, operating in alpha and theta states and thus receptive to positive suggestions and therapeutic work.

The science behind it
Regression hypnosis works with the brain's natural ability to access stored memories and associations, often held outside everyday conscious awareness. By guiding the mind into a deeply relaxed, focused state, we can explore the roots of patterns, emotions, or reactions that may be harder to reach through conversation alone.
-
Theta brainwave state Hypnosis shifts the brain into a slower, more receptive wave state, similar to the edge of sleep, where the subconscious becomes easier to access.
-
Memory & association The brain stores far more than we consciously recall. Regression works by gently guiding you back to relevant memories or formative moments.
-
The mind-body connection Emotional and physical responses are closely linked. Addressing the root of a memory can ease patterns that show up physically or emotionally today.
-
A guided, safe process You remain aware and in control throughout. Hypnosis is a state of focused relaxation, not unconsciousness, you're never "under" anyone's control.
Frequently asked questions
Regression hypnosis can be helpful for people who feel like they’re stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain, emotionally, mentally, or behaviorally.
It’s often used by individuals who want to explore the deeper root of things like anxiety, fears, emotional blocks, recurring relationship patterns, habits they can’t seem to break, or feelings that seem to come “from nowhere.”
If you’re curious about understanding yourself on a deeper level and open to inner exploration, this work can be incredibly powerful.
Not at all.
There are no swinging watches, no mind control, and no one taking over your brain. Hypnosis is much closer to a deep guided meditation. You are relaxed, aware, and completely in control the entire time.
Think of it as a focused state of attention where your mind becomes calm enough to access deeper memories, emotions, and insights that are usually hidden beneath our busy everyday thinking.
Actually… no. Hypnosis isn’t for everyone, and that’s important to say openly.
This is one of the reasons I recommend a brain scan first. Some people have brain patterns that make it difficult to enter a deeply relaxed or meditative state. If the areas of the brain responsible for relaxation and internal focus are underactive or dysregulated, meditation and hypnosis can be much harder to access.
However, if you already enjoy meditation or find it easy to relax into guided meditations, there’s a very good chance you’ll respond beautifully to hypnosis.
No. This is one of the biggest myths about hypnosis.
You are always aware of what’s happening, and you remain fully in control during the entire session. You can speak, move, or stop the session at any time.
Hypnosis works through cooperation, not control.
Most people describe it as feeling deeply relaxed, calm, and focused at the same time.
It’s similar to the feeling right before you fall asleep or when you’re completely absorbed in a movie or book. Your body feels relaxed, your mind becomes quieter, and it becomes easier to access memories and emotions without feeling overwhelmed.
Everyone experiences it a little differently, but it’s generally a very peaceful state.
This really depends on the person and what they’re working on.
Some people experience powerful insights or emotional shifts in just one session, while others choose to explore multiple sessions to work through different layers or patterns.
Regression hypnosis is a very personal process, and sessions are always tailored to your goals and comfort level.
